- "Local Band Pastele Places 5th on VH1's 'Make a Band Famous'" — During the summer, Livingston High School Alumna Brittany Dippold's band Pastele landed in the Top Five on VH1's "Make a Band Famous." VH1 and Universal Republic Records used social media in order to discover and promote a rising star.
- "Rixton Rocks Exclusive Concert at Livingston High School" — When British Pop band Rixton made their U.S. debut in March, their single, Me and My Broken Heart, quickly topped the charts. Liking the band, Livingston High School's (LHS) Do Something Club entered the band's Z100NY sweepstakes, winning a free concert at the high school Friday, May 30.
- "Livingston's Jeff Friedman Finds Success in Entertainment and Giving" — From "script to screen and everything in between," Livingston's Jeff Friedman lives his life to entertain people by directing and producing live and live-on-tape multi-camera television programs. Nominated for more than 60 Emmy Awards, 13 of which he received, Friedman recently won the Partner Impact Award for his relationship with the Discovery Orchestra.
- "Livingston Cancer Survivor's Book Takes its Inspiration to Good Morning America" — Jennifer Pellechio Lukowiak, the self-published author of "Does This Outfit Make Me Look Bald?" was among several fellow breast-cancer survivors Wednesday as Good Morning America (GMA) kicked off the first ever "Baton Pass" benefitting cancer patients.
- "Livingston's Kylie McLaughlin and Jessica Peslak Make First-Team All-State Two Years Running" — At the close of yet another school year at Livingston High School (LHS), two students on the girls' softball team were named First-Team All-State for the second consecutive season.
- "Livingston's Dana Gaier Returns as the Voice of 'Edith' in Despicable Me 2" — Livingston High School's own Dana Gaier, 16, who voiced the character of "Edith" in both the first and soon to be released sequel Despicable Me 2, will be attending the red carpet premier of the film on Saturday, June 22, at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles.
